Tried what you suggested. No luck. The hash key doesn't work in DOS. all that happens is the Scr Lock LED lights up. Is there someway to reset the mappings so the proper key is printed????

    bettlet,

    Please try the following:

    • Try removing the keyboard entry from the Device Manager.  You should then reset the system and when it restarts, the computer will auto-detect the keyboard and reinstall the driver.
    • You can modify the keyboard mappings in the Regional and Language Options item in the Control Panel.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem.

Did you get your problem resolved?

    Thanks. Pete

I also have the same problem of the tilde/hash key operating the scroll lock rather than printing the character. I wonder if it is linked to my SP2 upgrade? Has anybody found a fix for this yet?

    Thanks
