New 1501, had to send the first one back, 2 weeks old. When surfing, on a few occasions, the computer would stop and vertical lines would appear across the screen. The only way to get out was to cut the computer off. It would go back to work for a long time and do it sporadically. I thought it was due to the internet but one time it did it when I was not on the internet. Contacted dell and they sent a replacement.

 

Well, the second one just did it surfing. Is this something that occasionally happens and will have to live with?

 

IS this replacement a refurb unit or new one?
