M1330 vs. E1420
At this point in time, I've been using my E1705 for years and it is taking a toll on my back as I carry it to and from school every day. I've decided I'll hand off my E1705 to my mom and use the gaming features as needed, and pick myself up a refurb or new E1420 or M1330 that is very much more travel friendly.
I just wanted to know which one you would pick in my situation. Thanks!

How are you transporting it? With a typical bag where the strap goes over 1 shoulder?
I myself use a backpack so the weight is evenly distributed.
I would go with w M1530 - it's still under 6lbs;)
Of course, the M1330 is just under 4lbs:Dhmm you do bring up a good point. I will keep the M1530 in mind as well, could probably get a more powerful system out of it for a similar price.
Just checked the outlet and for about $200 more, I can get a still light system and it would have a more powerful 8600M GT.
Keep the opinions coming :) would love to compile all the pros and cons.
Also, about how I carry it, I do use a backpack but since the lockers at my school are trash, I have to carry around tons of books and a laptop as well...definitely is a pain.

As long as gaming isn't part of your use for the machine, either will serve - the 1330 is smaller and sleeker looking.
