I have the older D800 with TM300 Bluetooth that Dell supplies Widcomm Drivers for,
but I have noticed a new Toshiba Driver version that Dell has put up for the TM350.

If this is what you were already having problems with, you could also (with XP sp2) try the Windows supplied BT Driver/Stack by
uninstalling the Tosh Stack and letting Windows install their Driver.

I' ve tried the new driver but the problem stil remains!
Also I let windows install the driver but they can't recognize the device, even I know that XPsp2 support bluetooth drivers.

The windows I have are supported by Dell.
Do you think that might cause the problem? (Maybe they have "cut" the BT drivers that microsoft provides)

I would like to buy Dell Wireless 350 bluetooth card for my Dell Inspiron 6000. I would ask you guys whether is it recommended for my laptop or not is it causing any problems with Inspiron 6000. Secondly if someone can send me a link for dell site where i can purchase it online. Its very complicated and have tried various methods to search that page but cant find it. can any one suggest me what types we have in this card e.g. Internal or External or how to install the hardware if it is internal. Thank you very much guys your help is vey much appreciated.

Dell offered the internal (TM350) Bluetooth as an option on the D6000, you should also have
the Bluetooth Cable already installed and can check by looking under your Bluetooth door.

Think that it is located under or at the end of your Battery compartment (check users guide
or Service Manual) and confirm that it is there as it does not come with the Bluetooth Module.

Dell does not offer the TM350 'on-line' and you will have to try and get it from Dell Spare Parts
(no website) 1 (800) 372-3355 0r ...449-3355, have your customer number and don't let them sell
you a USB 'dongle' version, (they could be reluctant as it won't show BT on your Service Tag).

My D800 was ordered with the Internal Bluetooth (TM300) and I wanted a spare, but wanted the
TM350 (version 2.0 instead of 1.2) so I did not call Dell Spare Parts.

Instead, I got it from This eBay Seller {click here to link} and his service was excellent.

His are new TM350's and go for $10>+shipping and he was offering four a day on 24 hour listing.

If Dell Spare Parts will sell you a TM350, (usually do) the cost should be similar. :)
