Ok reading this forum thoroughly i realise that Dell have installed a sigmatel 92XX C Major sound card in alot of their laptops and none of them work properly with vista, i found this out aswell, i thought dell would be a good one to go for, but why keep installing the same card when there are millions of people with the same problem

Im one of those with the problem, i live for music, so to not be able to listen to my music properly or watch the videos i need to do my uni course with dont work. it annoyed me

and im still pretty miffed

so dell i put this question to you, is there any solution to the mish mash you got us into with putting in a sound card that doesnt work properly with vista 32bit giving popping and crackerling sounds or you just going to leave it to us to get done over by the system?
