I hope I am in the correct forum, I let my grandson use my old Studio 1737 laptop.  He got it infecteced with a virus, I am trying to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the computer back to factory status.  He put a pass word on the computer and forgot the pass word.  When, I go to F12 I can't wipe the hard drive because the of the unknown pass word is there a way to by-pass this problem?  Any. assistance will be appreciated.
