Turn Off Screen On 9300

I was wondering if there was a way i could turn of the screen on my 9300. I want to turn it off while im recording television in windows media center in the middle of the night so i can sleep in the dark. thanks for the help.

    Well, you can dim the moniter via the Function (Fn) key and up or down arrows. You could also configure the settings so the machine won't shut down when you shut the lid.

    I suppose you could set to turn off your monitor in power options for something like 5-10 minutes.
