2408WFP driver
Hi,
I need help. I am trying to download/install the driver for a 2408WFP, and the installation is not going according to the instructions.
I Downloaded 1332592.zip. According to the instructions, when I double-click on this on the desktop, "The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R222066. " This is not happening for me--all that opens is WinZip, which shows 3 files in the zip archive: 2408wfp.cat, 2408wfp.icm, and 2408wfp.inf. No .exe or anything. So how can I get this Dell self-extracting window to come up?

* Open the Device Manager -
XP = Press the Window key and the Pause Break key. Click Hardware. Click Device Manager
Vista = Press the Window key and the Pause Break key. Click Device Manager
* Click the icon left of Monitors
* Double click the monitor listed
* Click the Driver tab
* Click the Update Driver button
* Click No, not at this time
* Click Next
* Dot Install from a list or specific location
* Click Next
* Click Don't search. I will choose the driver to install
* Click Next
* Click Have Disk
* Click Browse and navigate to the folder on your desktop that has the unzipped monitor inf file
* Click the monitor inf file
* Click Open
* Click OK
* Click your monitor and the port your using (DVI or VGA)
* Click Next
* Click Finish
