Go to SolutionC3422WE, macOS DDPM 1.0.2.0017 not working
I have a PC and a Mac Mini M1 that are connected to my new C3422WE Dell monitor. I'm also using a Dell KM5221W keyboard/mouse combo.
On the Mac Mini M1, I updated the monitor firmware to M2T109. I also downloaded and installed DDPM for macOS, but it doesn't run. It doesn't even open. It's supposed to be supported, no?
Everything works fine on the PC side.

Yes, macOS DDPM should work with the C3422WE and Mac Mini M1. What we do not know is if the addition of the KM5221W USB-A dongle is conflicting with macOS DDPM. The KM5221W (KB500 keyboard and MS300 mouse) doesn't have any macOS drivers or support.
Disconnect the KM5221W USB-A dongle and retest DDPM. Does DDPM work?
Try testing the KM5221W USB-A dongle when plugged directly into the Mac Mini M1 USB-A ports. Does DDPM work?
Try testing the KM5221W USB-A dongle in all three of the C3422WE USB-A ports. Does DDPM work?

Interesting thought regarding the KM5221 dongle, but DDPM doesn't open on the Mac Mini in any of those scenarios.
I get an occasional pop-up message as shown here:
But I did the firmware update (twice, just to be sure), and I do have a USB-C cable connected. I tried also adding a USB-B cable to see if that helped, but it didn't.
I just can't get DDPM to open.

I'm experiencing the same issue with a C3422WE and a 14" MacBook Pro (M1 Pro).
The problem started after I upgraded DDPM to the latest 1.0.2.0017 version, when prompted to do so by Live Update. Before that it was working (albeit with some minor glitches, like having to frequently reset audio after switching between inputs). Unfortunately I don't recall the exact version of DDPM I had before, but it was definitely DDPM, not DDM.
I was on firmware version M2T108 and updated to M2T109 to see if that would be compatible with DDPM 1.0.2.0017, but it made no difference.
I am not using the KM5221W.

We are constrained in our troubleshooting because macOS DDPM 1.0.2.0017 is the only one available. macOS DDPM 1.0.0.0010 and 1.0.1.0019 were pulled from the monitor driver pages. All you and we can do is periodically check the C3422WE drivers page to see if a newer macOS DDPM appears to test.

OK, I will have to be patient I guess. I feel a bit disappointed, since I bought the monitor specifically to be able to work in both worlds (PC and Mac). For now, I'm manually switching between the 2 computers using the toggle switch on the back of the monitor. It's clunky but manageable for a while. Thanks!

Open the macOS DDPM 1.0.2.0017 --> Settings --> Updates tab. Allow it to update to the October 28, 2022 released macOS DDPM 1.0.2.0019. Restart the Apple PC when done. Then retest.
