Dell 1905FP - Vertical lines on white background
Hi,
I have a Dell 1905FP monitor. All has been fine until today when I noticed a couple of problems:
1)In any window with a white background or white portions, i.e. Internet Explorer, My Computer etc, I can see quite faint vertical lines running the length of the screen.
2) In the blue bar that runs horizontally across the screen when in for example, IE, there are towards the right hand side about 12 pink/purple lines.
I have two monitors side by side and if I drag a screen onto the second monitor (LG) the white lines disappear. This leads me to believe it is the monitor. I have swapped over the digital cables running from the PC to the monitor and updated both video card and monitor drivers. None of this has helped.
I am pretty sure the monitor is out of warranty. Is there anything that I can do?
