Okay, so I was sitting on my computer and all of a sudden my monitor went black. It was still "on" meaning the light was green, but the screen was black. So I turned it off and back on, the scree stayed on until I moved the mouse or touched a key. So basically it will only come back on for like 4 seconds. I unhooked it and hooked up an old monitor I have and it worked fine. I would like to know if it is my monitor that is having issues or could it be something in the actual computer making it do that? This is a Dell Dimension 2400, got it in 2003 or early 04.
