My Dell 2007wfp won't power on!
I'm stupid, apparently... I tried plugging in my Logitech speaker AC adapter to the Dell monitor, hoping that they already came with speakers (somewhere...) and that I only needed to supply power...
Well, the screen turned off immediately, and now I can't power it back on again. I tried unplugging everything and let it "rest" for a couple of hours. Nothing.
Is there anything I can do to solve this myself? I really don't have time for this :(
There's an icon on the back of the panel with a lock symbol and a hole next to it. Is this something I can use to solve this?
Hoping for a solution :(
Thanks

loadstone007,
* Disconnect the power cord from the monitor
* While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 3 seconds
* Reconnect the power cord to the monitor
* Try to power on the monitor. If it does not, then by plugging the Logitech speaker AC adapter into the DC power connector you must have shorted out the monitor. At least that is what I think you did based on your description. This would not be covered by the monitor warranty
