Hello, I see you are looking for technical assistance. Open the online S2721D Documentation page. Open the S2721D User's Guide.
We can see from pages 27 and 29 that the VESA cover was not installed out of the box. So you must have installed it yourself. As you press the dimple on the VESA cover, use a plastic scribe to pry it up.

I was able to get it off. I simply had to apply pressure at each corner of the bottom panel cover at opposite times.
