I have a U2311H, which I'm mostly happy with. However, ever since I got a new laptop with a DisplayPort output, it's been driving me nuts. When I turn the laptop off or put it to sleep, it corrctly goes into standby mode. But when I then pull the DisplayPort cable from the laptop so I can move it, it turns on again and displays an annoying "No DisplayPort Cable" message. This happens both when the input is manually configured or set to Auto Select. This problem doesn't happen when the last input used before sleep was VGA (which I used for my old laptop). I can't find any setting to disable this message, neither in the regular menu nor in the service menu.

Also, there's a perfectly fine DVI cable connected to a PC which is usually turned off, so at least in Auto Select it could just switch to DVI and recognize that the other end is turned off. Or it could switch to VGA, see that there is no signal, and turn itself off. But no, it has to tell me that yes, there is no DisplayPort cable connected. I know that, I just pulled it from my laptop! That's exactly what I intended! Why on earth does it need to tell me, and even wake up from sleep to do so?

Any ideas how to get rid of this annoying "feature"?
