Alright, I just have one question. Why should I go for this monitor?
As far as I understand, I'll be playing a $700 lottery (that's what I'd pay here in Denmark) with regards to the tint issue, and if l'm unlucky and get one with tint problems there's nothing I can do about it. I don't know about you guys, but I don't gamble.
Of course, if I were to get one without the tint problem I'm sure that I'd be more than happy.

That's exactly my point. Why should I spend that much money on a product which is essentially faulty (if I'm unlucky). I just can't justify it, and I want someone (preferable someone from Dell) to explain to me why I should go for it. What makes it worth it.

I think i read that all the u2410s have the tint issues and the updates don't address that, just the dithering.
