Hi,

I'm using Lenovo ThinkPad X390 Yoga with 1 external monitor which is Dell U2518D (2560x1440) on HDMI port. I'm planning to add a new monitor, Dell U2422HE (1920x1080).

This is what I plan to setup: X390 Yoga --> (USB-C DP) Dell U2422HE --> (DP Daisy Chain) Dell U2518D

In case anyone is not familiar with ThinkPad X390 Yoga, it has 2 USB-C ports; both of which support DP 1.2

Here are my questions:

1. Will this setup work?

2. According to Dell U2422HE user guide on page 15 and 20, it makes me understand that the second monitor will also need to be at 1920x1080 resolution. Is this accurate? Since HBR2 (DisplayPort 1.2) should support up to two 2560x1600 monitors. Does the monitor order matter? Like first monitor must be at highest resolution in the chain follow by same or lower resolution monitor(s)?

Note: I plan to use U2518D as my primary monitor as it is bigger and has higher resolution while 24-inch monitor will be placed on the side and laptop's lid closed
