Out of the blue, my monitor stopped working - no blue light.

I tried:

1. changed the power cable
2. checked the power - socket and cable are good.
3. disconnected all cables, waited 10 minutes, reconnected power- still dead. 

No lights, nothing.

The warranty ran out in August.  The monitor has had light use, and is connected to an APC UPS.

any ideas? e.g. is there some sort of internal fuse I could check?

5 years of light use is not a very good lifespan for a £1200 monitor.
