UP3216Q, audio Spatial Sound testing

Alienware Area 51-R2 Nvidia Titan X DP out port --> DP to mDP cable --> UP3216Q mDP in port

Note, the UP3216Q User's Guide states to only use the rear Audio-Line out port for powered speakers. In this quick test, I am plugging Sound Blaster Tactic3D Fury headphones directly into that Audio-Line out port.

I set the volume to 60 =

Changing from Spatial Sound Off =

to Spatial Sound On Windows Sonic for Headphones made zero change in the volume level or quality =

After testing, I disconnected the headphones and reconnected my GearHead powered speakers back into the UP3216Q Audio-Line out port. If I want to use headphones, I will plug them into the Alienware Area 51-R2 front audio out port. Then change the Playback Default Device to Sound Blaster Recon3Di.
