Clone Tapes from Clone Pool to Backup Pool

Hi,

how is it possible to copy/clone Tapes from a Clone Pool to a Backup Pool?

The Backup Pool media got deleted on a file_type device. So now it only exists a cloneset on Tapes. Is there any way I can get the save sets back into the Backup Pool.

The GUI and the nsrclone command only allows Clone Pools as destination pool.

    No, but you can clone that data again to temp clone pool and then stage it to backup pool.

    Hrvoje, do you know commands needed to clone from clone pool to clone pool for data that is very old.  Need to migrate the data to new media type. Thanks

    Richie,

         The command used is the same as the regular clone.

    nsrclone [ -v ] [ -s server ] [ -b pool ] -S { -f file | ssid...  }
