A few months ago I have installed NW server and client for NMSAP R3 on Oracle.

We make manual backup on SAP data via BRTools and backint command.

Everything works fine till yesterday.

There was an electrical problem and all servers had been down.

After restart, when we tried to make backup on SAP db the following message appears:

51476 08/30/10 23:30:26 2 0 0 1 27661 0 srvsapn1 backint The version of the NetWorker client application that is installed is not supported. Please see NMSAP documentation for more details.

Any idea why and how to resolve this issue?

Just for information we use Sun branded NW - EBS.

The backup infrastructure is as follow:

Backup server - Sun StorEdge Enterprise Backup Software (EBS) 7.5 SP1

Sun Fire X2270 Server, OS: Solaris 10

Backup client:

2     2  x Sun Fire E2900, OS: Solaris 9, two servers in Veritas cluster v.4.1.

Sun StorEdge EBS client v.7.5.1.

Sun StorEdge EBS storage node v.7.5.1.

Sun StorEdge EBS – Networker Module for SAP/R3 on Oracle v.3.5

Everything works fine before unpredicted shutdown due to power crash.

Please advice if you have similar problems before?
