I am reading the NW 7.6.2 Integration Guide and on page 24 it explains about upgrading to 7.6.2 and running nsrvadpserv_tool command to will move the backup types from VCB to VADP. Do you know if VCB backups can still run if only the client is on 7.6.2 and the NW server remains on 7.6.1 and the

nsrvadpserv_tool isn't run?
