5324 Link Aggregation Assistance

Hello all!
 
I have to revamp our existing network and want to setup multiple Link Aggregations. Here's what I think is required. Please tell my if I'm correct on this.
 
My Hardware: 3 x 5324s, 2 (A & B) are for workstations (other side of bulding), 1 (C) is for servers/routers/etc
 
Switches A & B are connected via sfp (port24) to Switch C <- I should setup LAG for ports 23 & 24 on each swtch then put copper between ports 23 on each. Next, setup LAG on C between ports 23 & 24. Next, setup LAG on C for ports 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8, 9+10, 11+12.
 
So I need 1 LAG group on Switches A & B and 7 Lag groups on Switch C.
 
Is there anything I'm missing or can't do etc? I read somewhere ports should be vacant when doing this?? I also no nothing about LACP so if there's something I need to do there 1st let me know.

    I do not know what you mean by vacant ports.  Perhaps this is referring to the fact that ports g22-g24 are combo ports (can be used as EITHER copper or fiber).  SFPs take priority when inserted, but it is probably good practice to leave the copper ports g22-g24 'vacant' when using the corresponding SFP port.
     
    What you describe about link aggregations sounds correct.  LACP can be enabled and will help in the case of a mis-wired network or when a port has link, but can not send data over the cable to the partner switch.

    Vacant means nothing plugged into those specific ports while configuring them.
     
    Know anything about LACP cause I tried and failed, had to set nics to AFT instead of LAG
