Power Connect M8024-K #M8024k #userid #password
Hi There,
Few inquiries on the M8024-k
Is there anyway to reset the user id and password on this switch? Can there be more than 1 user account on this switch? If yes, how many?

You can have up to 128 users. Page 438 If you have the current root password you can change it, if you don't you have to go to the password recovery.

additionally, will the password recovery option wipe out / clear the logs on the switch?

It should not wipe the logs. To get to the boot menu, reboot the switch and choose option 2 within 10 seconds.
