Have a Linksys home network with two Dell computers and a 3110cn color laser printer attached via ethernet. My daughter has a MacBook Pro wirelessly connected to this network and would like to be able to print on the 3110cn. I have just achieved this by telling the Mac the printer is a "generic PostScript printer". However, it's unlikely that all the printer's functionality is available this way. Apple support believes there are no Mac OS drivers for Dell printers. Dell support believes the same (at least the person I spoke on the phone tonight.) However, support.dell.com lists a Mac OS (Leopard?) driver for this printer, version A00 (!) dated October 2007.  I would have two questions:

 

1) Does the driver work and, after downloading it,

2) How to get the Mac to use it (since its version of the Printer Wizzard lists no Dell printers.)
