Hello.

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post and so I'm not sure if this is the correct place  to place my question. Please bear with me and suggest the correct place if I have got it wrong.:emotion-2:

I have two desktop computers. A Dell Dimension 2400 running XP and a Dell XPS 1 . running Vista.

I would like to connect them both together so that I can keep my older programs on the XP Machine, but run them on the XPS monitor to save desk space.

I would like to control both with my XPS Keyboard and mouse and use the XPS speakers.

I understand that one way to do this would be to purchase a KVM switch. My problem is which one will work with the XPS wireless keyboard ,mouse and speakers. There are so many different types.

My Dimension 2400 has a Creative wireless keyboard and mouse or the original PS2 items.

It is probably clear that my computer knowledge is very limited so any help will be much appreciated.
