Would a low profile version of the GTX1050 be able to fit in a SFF Dell OptiPlex 3020?

only if you install the psu outside case. the LP 1050 has a thick heatsink thus would not fit the x16 PCIe slot which is only 1 slot width from psu. by installing psu outside, you can install a thick card in the slot.
