Hi guys,

does anyone know how will the iDRAC9(assume that the version is not too old) detect memory DIMMs when processor failed?

If a processor on server (such as R740) is dead, will the iDRAC still be able to detect this CPU's memory DIMMs' status or maybe iDRAC would tell you that the memory slots (of this CPU) are all unavailable or something?

 

not sure about how iDRAC9 would react to this situation.
