I need a couple of servers, and am considering a couple of 2650's. I don't need a rack - would these units be happy stacked on top of each other on a cabinet? Do they have feet even? Would I have cooling problems?
The air flows from front to back in the PowerEdge 2650, so stacking the systems should not cause a cooling problem. The PowerEdge 2650 systems do not have an option for feet.
Stacking the systems in this manner would not be a "recommended" solution, but I doubt you would have any problem, except inconvenience if you need to access the lower chassis.
