Single disk to RAID-1 on PERC3/DI
Hardware/Software
PowerEdge 2550, Bios: A08
PERC3/DI RAID Controller, FW: 2.8.0 (Build 6082)
Array Manager 3.5.0 (Build 555.4)
Windows 2000 Server, SP4
Currently we have a single 16Gb disk installed. We have an additional 16GB disk available which we would like to install and convert the current virtual disk (RAID-0) to RAID-1 without having to wipe everything and start from scratch.
Is it possible to convert a single disk RAID-0 configuration to a dual disk RAID-1 ? Or do i have to blow away the existing configuration and start fresh.
