Hi, I've just got a replacement drive for a  PV124t and I'm having trouble swapping it over. It is the same model IBM LTO3 unit as was originally in there, the drive itself seems to be working fine, but the enclosure doesn't seem to recognise it. On the front panel I get what I'm guessing is a cryptic error: *0007N-00000-0N where by the value of N seems to increase with each reset.

The web interface for the enclosure reports that the drive status is "logging on" and after a while I get Drive Comm Failure (6E) errors.

Do I need to get specific Dell branded models or would a firmware upgrade work (although saying that I can't seem to get the IBM firmware tool for linux)

Any ideas before I try and send this unit back and look for another?
