I have 6 MD1200s attached to a PowerEdge Server R710 with 3 Perc800 controller cards. Vdisks each have 2 of the MD1200s, with a dedicated hot spare, in an attempt to keep things simple and separate.

One disk failed and the corresponding vdisk/controller started to rebuild. Output of "omreport storage vdisk" shows what I expected, one vdisk degraded and non-critical status, the others ready and okay. But the output from "omreport storage controller" shows all three as degraded. Does this make sense? What can I do to bring them to a normal state, just wait for the rebuild to finish?

Also, the vdisk output lists "HotSpare Policy violated : Not Assigned" for all three. Yet 2 have dedicated hot spares, and the other one did until the disk fail. What is this telling me?
