I pulled this addonics adm2px4 (PCIe Adapter)  from my Dell T3500 where I could see the drive, but not boot from it.

I installed it into my newer Dell T5810 tower and after mucking about with BIOS and other various settings, I am unable to even see the drive. Both workstations have W7_x64

MS no longer supports this fix.
