Please add e-SIM or SIM-Card port on next Precision Workstation

Dear Dell, how do you expect us to stay connected on the go without connection capabilities, it is unsafe to connect to public WIFI access points and in some cases, we work in remote places without access to WIFI. Please consider adding eSIM or SIM-Card slot/port on your machines and also consider adding illumination lights around ports to help us easily connect peripherals when in dark places especially outdoors.

If you want to add an internal cellular card, a Precision 77X0 or 75X0 series laptop is needed.  They all have a SIM card slot and an internal port for a LTE card.

Thank you for your kind response, I suppose they need to consider Precision 55XX series for this upgrade, I'm suffering without communication capabilities in remote areas.

Unfortunately, when it comes to thinner high performance laptops, it comes down to what do you sacrifice and what do you keep?  Would you trade the m.2 NVME SSD slot for a sim card and LTE card?  Or sacrifice some of the battery life to make room for the LTE card?

Instead of thinking about where to install the SIM card slot, you could simply switch to eSIM. The space for the physical SIM card can then be used elsewhere.
