scanning

I have a Dell AIO printer and when I scan my document to Microsoft Word it looks different than the original, some of the words are bunched together nd cut off at the bottom can anyone help??

    Have you tried reinstalling/updating the printer drivers/scanning software?

    Hello.I may not be of any help,but there are options on the scanner program that affect the outcome,try experimenting with them.I have found that if I scan and save to a pdf file ,sometimes save to the desk top,,it works for me?sorry

    What version of Word are you using? What's happening is your printer software most likely is using OCR software (Optical Character Recognition) of which may be having troubles especially if you're using an older version of Word. BTW, also what model of printer are you using?
