I have tried and tried again to get our v305w to work wirelessly again. It used to work perfectly, but then from time to time we would get communication errors.

We could usually solve these by reinstalling the drivers

But now it seems nothing I try will get the thing going. The main problem now seems to be that I can't get it to connect to the wireless network.

I go through the entire installation procedure, starting with running R237071.exe

I tick Agree to the Licence

Install A Printer

Select Connection Type: Wireless Connection

Get asked for a USB connection. So I connect.

Check the WiFi indicator: Orange

(Searching for wireless networks)

Enter Network Security Information: Enter 13 digit WPA Key

"You did not enter a valid WPA Key. A WPA Key is like a password and must be between 8 and 63 characters long"

Why do I get that message? Seems to be a silly error message because my key is 13 digits long.

I am using channel 11
