Drive Replacement Question

I am going to replace my current 80G, Hitatchi Travelstar hard drive on my XPS M1710 with a Seagate 160G Momentus hard drive.  My current hard drive has a 1.5GB transfer rate but the new drive has a 3.0GB transfer rate.  Is that going to be a problem?

Also, I am planning on using the CMS data transfer kit with Bounceback software.  Any feedback on that product?

Since the drive itself can't sustain any more than 60-70 MBps, the interface capability is a moot point - you'll see no better performance with any single SATA 3G drive vs. a SATA 150 - SATA 3G is yet another solution to a performance problem that doesn't exist.

You might compare the cost of the kit with that of a $10-15 external case and a copy of Acronis True Image (which can be subsequently used for backups).
