error message during DOS program backup

During a DOS program (via Windows) and upon trying to do the backup, I get an error mesage: "CS:218f IP:0dd0 OP:fe 20 b5 05 eb".  What could this imply? (The backup had worked fine previously on this computer and on the office Compaq computer.)

    Sounds like you're backing up over a network and lost the connection.

    This back up attempt is on one computer. The backup starts, then quits part way.
