I am looking for an upgrade for my Dell Deminsion 8300.  I have a dual CD/DVD writer.  It currently burns at 4X.  Sometime last year, I have updated the firmware which bumped the speed to 4X.  I did a search for this but it looks like there is no update?

 

Or do I need to buy an entirely new burner to upgrade the speed?

 

I am sorry if this question has been repeated.  I tried to look for a similar question with this system.
