pschedelic colours in playback

i used movie maker and then saved to disk. but the colours are all wrong. very bright blues, pink, and orange. vey pschedelic!! saved to hard drive and the same (playback through windows media player)  the clips plays normally in movie maker

    What is the source? It sounds like Macrovision copy protection…

    I believe Jim is requesting that you provide more detail. What is your system, OS, etc. What is the file type of the movie you are watching?
