I have been working on clarion cx-3 and now been assigned to work on symmetrix DMX-4.

On clarion I used to take a bunch of disks created a RAID group and carve a lun or two on it.

Create storage group assign hosts and map LUNs to it. I used to do all of this from Navisphere.

I am used to zone the storage and the servers on the switch interface.

I couldn't find a how to guide to do this on Symmetrix, I learned that this process can be

achieved using SYM CLI or from control center, which are both available to me

I am confused about first mapping a dev to a port and mapping and masking to the server HBA.

Can some one help me out.
