I would like to test syslog notification on my VMAX 10k. I know there is a configuration setting within the daemon_options file of which I have enabled.

The description states faults can be artificially injected to generate events without stressing the Symmetrix.

Can someone direct me to the documentation on how to create these alerts so I can verify my notifications (syslog and email)?
