Dell Server Deployment Pack v2.0 driver package installation

Hope this is not too stupid a question, but I am currently configuring the Deployment Pack on SCCM 2007 and have a few queries that hopefully someone can clear up quickly without me having to run multiple tests for trial and error, due to some aggressive deadlines I have to meet!

I have imported all of the driver packages for Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, but want to know what is the easiest way to identify what drivers are applicable to the correct machine. I was expecting to see a model, i.e. Dell PowerEdge T110 II, but instead see what looks like the RAID controllers in the name?

Also, the driver packages that i have imported only seem to contain RAID/SATA and NIC drivers, with the occasional Video driver. I was expecting to see chipset drivers etc... or am I missing something, and still need to configure driver packages as I would for a Windows 7 deployment containing these in addition to what is imported from the Open Manage DVD?

Apologies, i haven't read all of the documentation etc... yet, so the questions may be already included. I would appreciate if someone can provide some quick clarity however....

Thanks in advance!!!

    LOCITS,

The easiest way to get identification on that would be by installing Open manage on the server or running the SUU (Server Update Utility) ISO. Either will list the device and the current revisions in it. The SUU will tell you the one available to update with as well.

Here is a link to the SUU -

    www.dell.com/.../poweredge-r610

    OpenManage - www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats

<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

Let me know if that is what you had in mind.

    Hi LOCITS

You can create a driver package in SCCM based on the Platform OS combination using DSDP Driver Package Import wizard. You need to have OpenManage DVD (Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD) for this.

For ex you can Create PowerEdge T110-Windows Server 2008 R2 driver pack and use the same in the OSD task sequence.
