CIFS client statistics

We've migrated from a VNX box to a Unity system a while back. One useful tool we often used was the 'server_stats' command to see where the CIFS load on the system was coming from i.e.

server_stats server_2 -monitor cifs.user -interval 5 -count 5

I haven't been able to find anything similar for the Unity box so just wondering if anybody else has a solution?

Thanks!

    Hello jkissane,

Have you look in unisphere on the performance page?  You can customize the view as needed and have it show historical and real-time.

    Hello jkissane,

I am not seeing anyway to get usage for individual CIFS client.

Yes I have looked there but cannot find anything that will give me usage per individual CIFS client. Please let me know if I've missed anything. The VNX would show me the traffic generated by each client IP so that's what I'm after.

    Thanks.

Disappointing to see that in moving from the old VNX platform we've lost functionality. Seems like an obvious statistic to provide along with similar for NFS clients.

more detailed CIFS and NFS stats similar to the VNX server_stats command will be in the next Unity OE release which is currently in beta
