Windows Updates - AntiSpyware

Is Microsoft's "AntiSpyware Beta" program the same program as the critical update, "Malicious Software Removal Tool", shown on the Windows Update page?  Thanks, Blake

    No it is not.

Microsoft AntiSpyware is beta software to detect spyware.

The Malicious Software Removal Tool is to check for and remove a few specific viruses - this is supposed to be updated once a month.

My mistake and appologies, I do run the new AntiSpyware program and most likely will untill they start charging for it.

It works along with my other debuggers.
