Ldap configuration on Data mover
I would like to know a use case as to why we need to configure ldap on a data mover.
In my environment, I have a separate ldap server and the file system from VNX gets exported and mounted on the server. The servers are authenticated using ldap. So I am wondering whats the purpose of configuring ldap on a data mover. Any inputs would be appreciated.

Typically you would configure LDAP on the data mover if you need it to store config for user mapping (multi-protocol) or for netgroups (NFS)
