Unisphere (and Navisphere as well) is a client/server application. There is a management server that runs on the SPs of Clariion and VNX systems and the client launches from a web browser and communicates with the server. You can create an “Off-Array” management station which runs the server which is also a member of the Navisphere/Unisphere domain. Doing this offloads some management functions from the array SPs and also provides a central management point to go to rather than picking an SP IP address on your array. Plus if an SP is down, you won’t have to find an alternate SP to launch Unisphere.

Thanks for the update.

I have installed the Unisphere Server and Client on the Windows 2003 Server. I am able to launch Unisphere Client locally.

How can I launch Unisphere Client remotely from other server or desktop.

when I use Unisphere Server IP Address from a remote server browser, It is launching Unisphere Server. But I am not enter the IP Address of Array as desired.

It is directly taking the IP Address of Unisphere Server. Please assist.
