Let's assume we have 500 Print-IT network printers on a terminal server. In vWorkspace console I can highlight a printer, then a user(or a group), right-click user and select "Set as default printer".

What if I do not want to want to do it manually for all 100 users/groups I have and just allow users to select default printer they want, so it will be permanently set for them upon subsequent logins?

Any way to use MetaProfiles and registry key for default printer? As I understand printer names will be different (different terminal servers) and that's how they are specified in that reg key: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/156212
