Hello all.  Am new to WIN 7 Pro x64 on my 435t/9000 and have a couple of annoying gripes. :emotion-9:

First, I seem to be a second-class administrator!  I use the original administrator account, password-protected and still named Administrator, but Explorer still occasionally denies me access to a file or directory or refuses a copy or move command, saying I need to get "Administrator" permission - I AM the administrator, darn it!  This would bother me even logged in as an ordinary user, since the pop-up message provides no help or link or any other info about where/how to get such permission, and how you would implement it if you got it.

.Can anyone direct me to info on exactly how I need to configure the Group Policies under UAC so that, when I'm using the Administrator account, I'm neither denied nor asked for administrator's confirmation on any legitimate action?  I know how to set and change Group Policies, just not which settings are causing the problem.

The second gripe concerns the built-in OS "burn to CD" utility - I keep getting notifications while or after working in Explorer the I have files waiting to be burned to a disc, even without a blank disc in the optical drive, and when I have not knowingly selected any files or directories for copying to an optical disc.  I hesitate to simply use the accompanying Delete button (not in any case a way to make the entire CD-object go away) since it's unclear whether this would only delete the copy of the item from the "waiting-to-be-burned" disc's directory, or would delete the original item at its source. Since I normally only make such discs using Roxio Creator (the Premier version is factory-installed on my machine, which I guess could be where all this is actually coming from, rather than from the OS), the best solution for me would be to be able to turn the function off unless I specifically run it.  Second best by quite a bit would be to learn exactly how I seem inadvertently to be "selecting" files and directories to be burned, so I could stop doing it!

If this thing is in fact a (unwanted) "feature" of Roxio Premiere rather than WIN 7, I'd still like to know how to turn it off!
