Auto-launch Windows Explorer with USB

Can anyone tell me how to get Windows Explorer to automatically start when I insert a USB drive.  It does this on two of my three machines but not the third.  Don't know what I did to make that happen.
As I recall, the first time it reads a USB drive, it asks you what you want to do.  One choice is "Open Folder to View Files using Windows Explorer."  Once you have told it to take no action, there seems to be no way you can undo this choice.  AutoPlay in the Properties tab seems to apply only to music, pictures, & video files.  I have tried the "mixed content" choice but it has no effect.  I have tried "Resore Defaults."  No luck.

    Vega1,

On the Autoplay properties page, check "Prompt me each time to choose an action" and apply the change.  Use the Safely Remove Hardware option for USB drives to remove the drive.  Restart your computer.  Reconnect your USB drive.  You should receive a prompt that will allow you to choose the "Open folder to view files" option.
