incorrect model number
Hi,
I have just bought an Inspiron 15 3583 laptop. I downloaded Support Assist to update drivers. This updated the BIOS and some drivers.
I have now noticed that Support Assist shows my device as Inspiron 3400 not a 3583. When I enter my service tag on the Dell website it shows correctly as an Inspiron 3583
I have also checked the BIOS by pushing F2 key when booting. My laptop is also shown as Inspiron 3400 in the BIOS information screen
Can you tell me why this is and is this a problem I need to resolve?
